Snowy Tots and a Tiny Tot Too.

Last week we had to take the rather unusual decision to cancel Forest Tots, not so much because of the weather, but because of the condition of the roads round here!

So it was a relief to get back into the woods today, and extra special that the snow is still lying on the ground. We lit the fire as a priority (and cheated and used fire lighters!) then the small people got on with the very serious job of making snow soup, snow 'hot' chocolate, snow burgers..........

Our resident pyromaniac assumed his position by the fire and set about setting light to everything he could find that would burn.

And *look*, our tiniest 8 week old Forest Tot joined us properly for the first time.

It was, all told, a fab session much enjoyed by all. Now if only we could solve the age old cold welly boot conundrum!?

  1. Rachel this is a wonderful way to spend a morning for all concerned. I've just bought the HABA grill after seeing yours, so can't wait to try it out. Would you consider adding this to an outdoor play party over at my blog? If you are, when it asks for 'name' put in the post title not your name.
